A blog for the Devon Wargame's Group, which meets on the secound Saturday of each month at the Whipton Institute, 20 Village Road, Whipton, Exeter, EX4 8AW.
Hi DWG Sorry for [posting here but I couldn't find another location! I'm just emailing to let your members know about a new Gaming Hall that has opened in Exeter. Ironhaven Games is a permanent gaming hall that offers members gaming three nights a week Tues/Wed/Thurs and all day Saturday and Sunday.
There is a membership fee of £15 a month however as well as access to the hall, the £15 also gets a 20% on all purchases and we have access to a wide range on miniatures including Warmachine/Hordes/Battlefront/Malifaux/Infinity/Spartan Games Range. We our also aiming to stock other historical miniatures when we can learn what ranges members want. At present it is only GW that we won't be providing due to their new unreasonable (in our opinion) terms and conditions for independent retailers. In addition members will get reduced tournament tickets and access to special events such as visits from games designers.
It is our opening weekend this weekend (4th & 5th June) and we would be really pleased to see any DWG members there.
